Programmer Analyst With QlikView Full Time

This opportunity is for Programmer Analyst who has extensive experience with Qlikview to work shoulder to shoulder with Senior Analyst and Domain Experts in an open, interactive and energetic work-space. Key responsibilities

• Analyzes and records issues, collaborating with other programmers to fix code problems
• Build and test programming changes for each phase of systems development prior to implementation. Writes test cases and expected results. Reviews results for conformance to requirements. May plan simple tests or a defined subset of a larger system test. May make recommendations for acceptance/rejection if requirements are not all met
• Evaluates user requests for systems changes or improvements. Registers functional requirements and reviews cost, feasibility and utility. Recommends how, when and whether to make the changes
• Aids in creating communication materials for certain system changes being implemented in production
• Guides internal clients on applications, systems and/or processes for identifying and resolving, processing/reporting programming problems. Provides consultation through troubleshooting and/or education
• Assembles and maintains dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst
• Assesses processing systems. Builds improvement recommendations
• Trains and assists end users and other partner groups for a particular application, system or process, on an ongoing basis- General knowledge of mainframe hardware/software and PC operations required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Versatile project planning abilities that include project costing techniques
• Good working understanding of programming languages
• Previous experience as a project leader for the business portion of developmental applications or major systems improvements
• Practical knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of SSA BPCS
• Tableau experience
• General familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint
• Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Outlook
• Documentation experience desired
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Foundational knowledge in Cognos
• Deep understanding of Qlikview

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
